Chaga (also known as birch conk) is a unique fungus that grows on birch trees and is considered highly beneficial for the human body. This traditional preparation, derived from legendary Siberian chaga, is made according to an ancient recipe. It is a thick, dark brown liquid with a bitter taste reminiscent of unsweetened coffee. Packaged in a 90 ml bottle. Chaga is a type of parasitic tree fungus that grows primarily on birch trees, especially in Siberia. In appearance, it resembles a black mass with a brown interior. It takes up to 10 years to mature in temperatures dropping as low as -40°C; it grows to a size of 30–50 cm and can weigh up to 10 kg. It draws nutrients from the sap of the host tree. It is harvested in autumn and spring, when the concentration of active ingredients is highest. Although chaga can grow on other deciduous trees, only those that mature on birch trees possess the most potent regenerative properties.
